Yadu Prasad Gyawali, the Assistant Professor in English Education in Faculty of Education in Mid-Western University (MWU), Surkhet, Nepal. He has contributed with several responsibilities (Assistant Campus Chief of Central campus of Education, Chairperson, English language Subject Committee, Member, Faculty board of Education Faculty, Secretariat member, and others) in the University from its establishment. Currently, he is working as the member of the research committee of the faculty of education at MWU. He is also associated with NELTA and other professional networks as a part of professional growth accountabilities, he has been functioning as a teacher trainer, consultant of different organizations and editor of journals. He has been teaching to graduate and undergraduate students for more than 10 years; as the purpose of professional growth, he has participated and presented in different national and international conferences and seminars. He has published books in different areas of English Language Teaching, several articles in national and international educational journals. He has been coordinating several international projects on behalf of the University. He has visited India, Greece, Italy, France, Switzerland for academic purposes. He is also a well-recognized scholar from The Society of Transnational Academic Researchers (STAR). He obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Distance Education and e-Learning. He is a Ph.D. Scholar of Chandigarh University, Punjab, India. Teachers' Professional Development and ICT in Education are the major areas of interest in research.
