Arie Kusuma Paksi is a lecturer in the Department of International Relations at the Universitas Muhammadiyah yogyakarta, Indonesia. He has just completed his PhD from the Department of Peace Studies and International Development, University of Bradford. His research focuses on political economy, donor intervention and international development in Southeast Asian countries.
