"I am Dr. Mahfujur Rahman, currently working as a senior lecturer at the Islamic Business School, Universiti Utara Malaysia. I got a Doctor of Philosophy degree in nanobiotechnology from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, while working on molecular marker development for halal food authentication. I have served as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Universiti Malaya and Asian Halal Laboratory, Universiti Utara Malaysia. I gained versatile experience working with numerous universities and conducting research. Thus, besides teaching, I worked on research and also obtained professional certificates as an "Islamic financial planner," offered by a collaboration between the Islamic Banking and Finance Institute and the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia. I frequently participate in local and international conferences and publish in high-impact WoS and Scopus-indexed journals. My current research is focused on Halal science and management, Halal Food authentication, Muslim Friendly tourism, and Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility practices."
