Denny Darlis earned his Bachelor of Science (S.Si) degree from the University of Indonesia in 2000 in the field of Physics specializing in Instrumentation. After being involved in the industrial world for about 5 years, he continued his Masters of Engineering studies at the Telkom Institute of Technology until 2010 to get an MT degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunication. Currently (2016) he is continuing his studies in the field of Optical Wireless Communication. Current research interests are Implementation of wireless telecommunications systems, Visible Light Communication, Wireless Sensor Networks, and cryptographic algorithms applied in FPGAs, Internet of Things, Fog Networking, Hardware Security and Embedded Systems. Joined the D3 Telecommunications Techonology (used to be Engineering) study program since 2010 starting as a Part Time Professional Lecturer until 2013 becoming a Permanent Lecturer at the Telkom Education Foundation. The courses taught to D3 Telecommunications Engineering students are Digital Engineering, Microcontroller Applications, Wireless Communication Workshops, Fiber Optic Communication Engineering, K3 and Labor Law, as well as Introduction to Professional Certification. Involved in the process of preparing for study program accreditation in 2012 and compiling the competency-based curriculum for the 2012 and 2016 D3 Telecommunication Engineering. Is a member of the K3 Activist Network in the Telecommunications Sector (jaring3telco.org) based in Jakarta, member of the Telematics Society No. 100746 since 2015, member of IEEE No. 93648195 Region 10 – Asia and Pacific Indonesia Section, and member of ETA-i no. 144089. As well as having a Certificate of Expertise in the K3 field of electricity and Working at Height (TAT-1).
