Syah Alam was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. He received Bachelor Education of Engineering (S.Pd) degree in electrical engineering from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and M.Eng (M.T) degree in telecommunication engineering from Graduate Programe of Electrical Engineering Universitas Trisakti in 2010 and 2012, respectively. In 2014, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Jakarta as a researcher and lecturer and in 2018 he joined Departement of Electrical Engineering of Universitas Trisakti.
