In 1998 he received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Hasanudin University, Ujung Pandang, Indonesia, and in 2004 earned an M.Eng. in electrical engineering from ITS, Surabaya, Indonesia. in 2016 obtained a doctorate in informatics engineering from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan. He currently serves as Chairman of the Smart Digital Technology (Ubiquitous Computing Technique) Group at the State University of Malang. In addition, he is also a lecturer in undergraduate and master's programs at the State University of Malang. His current research covers the areas of ubiquitous computing, multimedia networking, intelligent systems design, disruptive technology media, and smart sensors.
