I Nengah Laba completed his German education at Sprachakademie Hanover, Germany and at Jade University of Applied Sciences, Germany in the field of research methodology. He earns his Diploma in Tourism from LPSM Panji Sakti University Singaraja, bachelor degree at Mahasaraswati University Denpasar, Master and Ph.D at Udayana University. This young lecturer has received the National Competitive Research Grant, the Textbook Writing Grant and the Higher Education Research Grant from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. Laba is an Associate Professor and currently works as a permanent lecturer for the subjects of English, German, Research Methodology and Statistics at the Institute for Tourism and International Business (Institut Pariwisata dan Bisnis Internasional) and Denpasar Institute. His research interest are applied linguistics, tourism, and social studies.
