Yudi Prayudi is a lecturer at the Informatics Department of the Islamic University of Indonesia who currently serves as the Director of the Center for Digital Forensics Studies (CDFS). He earned a Doctoral degree in computer science in 2020 from the Department of Computer Science and Electronics, Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta Previously, he obtained a Master of Informatics degree from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology Surabaya in 2002. and a Bachelor of Computer degree from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia in 1994. His research interests are in digital forensics, digital evidence, cyberlaw, steganography, watermarking, and computer security. Some of the research topics he carries out range from frameworks for digital forensics, chain of custody for digital evidence, block chains for digital evidence, steganography and watermarking, various forensic areas such as mobile forensics, cloud forensics, acquisitions and multimedia forensics. He is also active as an associate editor of the International Journal of Information Security and Privacy (IJISP), reviewer board of the International Journal of Digital Crime and Forensics (IJDCF), International Journal of Electronic Security and Digital Forensics (IJESDF) and International Journal of Advanced Computer Science. and Applications (IJACSA). He has also served as an expert witness for various legal cases in the field of computer crime. Currently he is also listed as a national assessor for the National Accreditation Board for the Digital Forensics Testing Lab. He is also registered as an member of the Indonesian Digital Forensic Association and a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA).
