Prof Asnawi Abdullah is a public health specialist with 25 years of experience working, research and consultancies. Now he is a Dean Faculty of Public Health, University Muhammadiyah Aceh and adjunct Senior Research Fellow, Monash University, Australia. He was a research officer for Health System Strengthening Unit, Nossal Institute for Global Health, Australia. He earned PhD in Epidemiology and Population Health, from School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University. He having strong academic back ground, Master in health services management and Master in health policy, planning and financing (HPPF) from London School of Economic (LSE) and London School Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), University of London. Most of his research and consultancy relates to epidemiology, public health, health system, risk factors and non-communicable disease. He have done consultancies job for the World Bank, ADB, UNICEF, WHO and AusAID/DFAT and a number of projects funded by international NGO.
