Agariadne Dwinggo Samala is a professional educator, futurist, and dedicated researcher, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), Indonesia, and an affiliated Tutor at Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia. His academic journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Universitas Andalas, Indonesia (2015), followed by a master’s degree in Technology and Vocational Education from UNP, specializing in Informatics Engineering Education (2018). In 2023, he completed his doctoral studies at UNP, focusing on integrating technology in education. With five years of experience, he excels in applying digital technology to enhance educational practices. Moreover, Agariadne actively contributes to the academic community as a member of APTEKINDO (Association of Technology and Vocational Education of Indonesia), APTIKOM (Association of Higher Education in Informatics and Computers), and EMERGE (Emerging Technologies, Multimedia, and Educational Research Group Env.) at the Digital Society Lab, where he advances research initiatives. His collaborative efforts extend internationally as an external collaborator with the Digital Society Lab at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory (IFDT), University of Belgrade, Serbia. Furthermore, Agariadne is a member of the International Society for Engineering Pedagogy (IGIP) in Austria. With a deep passion for education, Agariadne has conducted impactful research on technology-enhanced learning (TEL), educational technology, immersive learning applications and experiences, digital learning, microlearning, and emerging technologies in educational contexts. His commitment extends beyond research, actively contributing to the academic community by serving as an editorial board member for J-HyTEL, Elektif, Voteteknika, JTIP, JITCE, AMLER, JPTK, JEREL, and JCIM. Additionally, he has served as a peer reviewer for high-impact journals, including Discover Artificial Intelligence, International Journal of Educational Research, International Journal of Engineering Pedagogy, Cogent Engineering, Interactive Learning Environments, International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction, Education and Information Technologies, and others. His scholarly work includes over 71 published scientific papers, with 32 articles featured in journals by notable publishers such as Elsevier and Springer. Agariadne has also fostered collaborative partnerships with experts worldwide, propelling educational research progress. Beyond his research, he holds certifications as a Microsoft Certified Educator-21st Century Learning Design (21CLD), Power BI Data Analyst Associate, and Google Certified Educator, highlighting his dedication to integrating technology in education.
