Hari Harjanto Setiawan completed his undergraduate education in 1998 at the Bandung College of Social Welfare (STKS). In 2001, graduated from the University of Indonesia in the Sociology Study Program with a specialization in Social Welfare. In 2014 he completed his Doctoral degree at the University of Indonesia, Social Welfare Study Program. From 2007 to 2021, he worked as a researcher at the Center for Social Welfare Research and Development, Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia. Starting January 1 2022, he moved to work at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Jakarta, Indonesia. His research topics are social welfare, poverty, child protection, reintegration, social entrepreneurship, social rehabilitation, social assistance, community resilience, indigenous communities, social empowerment, and climate change. Various studies have been carried out and published in books and scientific journals. Currently a peer reviewer in the Journal "Sosio Konsepsia" and Frontiers in Sociology.
