Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ir. Andreas Tedy Mulyono, S.H., M.H., a decorated scholar who formally educated S1 (bachelor degree: Ir. & S.H.) and S2 (master degree: MH) in several educational institutions and obtained a Doctorate degree from Pelita Harapan University (PhD. Program in Legal Studies, 2016). As of August 1, 2023, he secured a functional role as an Associate Professor following the guidelines outlined in the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, numbered 60635/B/07/2023, which pertains to the promotion of academic positions for lecturers.
He also earned non-formal education in the business sector including Taxation A and B Brevet, holds the title of Certified Tax Advisor (C.T.A.), as well as a Lawyer and Tax Advocate at the Tax Court of the Republic of Indonesia.
He frequently writes articles for Investor Daily, a business daily newspaper published in Jakarta, Indonesia. He has also conducted various research and attended many seminars in the fields of business law, general management, finance, and banking, both active as a Speaker and Moderator, as well as a Participant. Also active in several professional organizations, namely: as a member of the Indonesian Philosophy of Law Association (AFHI, since 2015), as a member of Indonesian Tax Lawyers and Advocates Association (IKHAPI, since 2018), as a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), as a member of the Association of Managers Indonesia (AMA, 1999); and as Treasurer in the Management Composition of the Law Doctoral Alumni Association of Pelita Harapan University (Jakarta, since May 3, 2017).
His career in education started on May 21, 2018, namely as a lecturer at the Masters Program in Business Law, Postgraduate Program at Pelita Harapan University; and teaches three courses, namely: Legal Theory, Sociology of Law, and Capita Selecta of Business Law. Also teaches Environmental Law and International Environmental Law courses in the Undergraduate Program, at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pelita Harapan Jakarta since 2020 until now.
Prior to his academic career, he forged a successful career in banking and business development; and worked for twenty-five years (1991-2015) as a professional in several business fields, namely: information & technology (IT), banking, mining-forestry, property development and contractors, and automotive. Experienced in the IT field as: software specialist (PT Galva Technologies, 1991-1992); in banking as Marketing Team Leader (PT Bank Indonesia Raya, 1992-1994), as First Manager (PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, 1994-1997), as Branch Manager for Jakarta Harmoni and Kwitang (PT Bank Artha Pratama, 1997-2000), as Section Head of Consumer & Retail Banking and Section Head of Credit Policy & Risk Management (PT Bank Artha Graha, 2000-2007), as Division Head of Loan Workout (Grant Thornton – Bank Artha Graha, outsourcing to the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency, 2002- 2003); as Senior Staff of the Board of Directors (PT Bank Artha Graha Internasional, Tbk, 2007-2014); in the mining-forestry sector as Finance Director of PT Merdeka Mineral Indonesia (iron ore mining, Bone, South Sulawesi, 2007-2008); as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PT Dempo Multi Mineral (iron ore mining, Pasaman, West Sumatra) and PT Terbanggi Subing Batu Betuah (andesite mining, Tegineneng, Lampung, 2007-2014); in the field of property developers and contractors as the President Director of PT Artateko Mandiri Propertindo (Housing Project: “Agung Haven Residence”, Manado, 2015-2018), in the automotive sector as owner representative of PT KIA Group, Jakarta, since 2017.
He currently also serves as Corporate Legal & Tax Advisor of PT Catur Kusuma Abadi Sejahtera, a holding company in Jakarta since May 1st, 2017.
