Born in Langsa on October 11th, 1991, Arief Aulia Rahman is the second child of his father, Drs. Ahmad As’adi and his mother, Dra. Aminah Sulaiman. He finished his study in elementary, junior, and senior high school in his hometown, Langsa. Soon, after graduated from senior high school, he continued his study at the bachelor program of Mathematics, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) within three years and eight months. His Essay was entitled The Effectiveness of Using Peer Lesson Learning Method to Improve Problem Solving Ability in Junior High School, he proceeded to the Master's Program for Mathematics Education at Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED). He completed the study in one and a half year. His thesis title was Development of Learning Device Based on Realistic Approach to Improve Mathematical Problem Solving and Self-Efficacy. So far, he has written some journals that can be found in online search. His research publication can be found in his profile on Google Scholar and sinta. He is active as a lecturer and a researcher at the bachelor Program in Mathematics Education of STKIP Bina Bangsa Meulaboh, and a member of Indonesian Mathematical Society (IndoMS). And twice won awards in community service at Aceh Tamiang for making local culture-based learning media. he ever became chairman of research units and community service and Now active as chairman in bachelor program of Mathematics Education at STKIP Bina Bangsa Meulaboh
