From 2008-2012 is a secretary of the Music Education Department, and from 2012 to 2019 is Vice Dean of Languages and Arts Faculty, at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta- Indonesia. She has been a lecturer of the Music Education Department and Art Education Program Study from 1991 to the present. She had a lot of experience in teaching and doing research at the national and international levels in music teaching methods, development of music teaching models, and evaluation of music teaching. She has been conducting international research collaborations for more than 8 years with Utrecht University and Hoogeschool Kunstent Utrecht the Netherlands. Besides that, she has been doing research with the Conservatory of Denhaag-the Netherlands, the University voor Humanistiek Utrecht the Netherlands, and De Poitiers France. She also has observed the musical ability of widespread several musical skills in many countries, besides her expertise in music education.
