Dr. Vinotha Sanmugarajah, Senior Lecturer, Unit of Siddha Medicine, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. She received her undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) {1st class obtained on 25th March 2005 from Jaffna University, Sri Lanka. She was awarded of Scholarships for M’ Phil/ Ph.D. by Research Degrees under HETC Project, Ministry of Higher Education (2012), Sri Lanka. She received her Post Graduate Degree; Ph.D. in Siddha Medicine obtained on 24th April 2015 from Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Jaffna. She has ten years research experience and seven years teaching experience in Siddha Medicine related subjects. She has published fifteen research papers in International journals and presented 30 research abstracts in different International and National conferences. Her research area includes Phytochemical, Physicochemical, Antioxidant, Clinical research and Siddha Medicine. She obtained the SFE – Best oral presentation award (Third) for the best oral presentation in the 1st International Congress of the Society for Ethnopharmacology (ICSE 2014), Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai, India.
