Born on Thursday, August 20, 1970 in Bone, South Sulawesi. The writer lives in Makassar City. After completing Madrasah Aliyah at the DDI Mangkoso Barru Islamic Boarding School, then continued to Al-Azhar University Cairo, Egypt in the Department of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language (1992-1996). Returned to Indonesia and continued his education at the Diyarkara College of Philosophy Jakarta (1996-1999), Masters in Sociology at Hasanuddin University (2002-2004) and Doctor of Sociology at Hasanuddin University (2018-2020). Apart from academics, the author is also active in conducting research, dedication and scientific publications on a national and international scale. In addition, he is also active as a preacher.
