I hold a Bachelor of Science Education Degree in Geography with Economics as Minors and graduated with a Second Class Upper-division. I also hold Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Educational Research, Measurement and Evaluation. Based on my training, I teach educational measurement, research, and statistical methods as well as teaching methodology (Geography and Economics subject specializations) at the undergraduate level while being mentored on taking postgraduate classes. I am experienced with undergraduate project supervision having successfully supervised 20 projects and still counting. I have a flair for leveraging on technology in teaching and assessment as well as engage in blended learning practices. I am a passionate researcher with a research interest in STEM education, Item Response Theory-based Psychometrics in Educational Assessments; Generalizability Theory-based Reliability Analysis; Educational Evaluation; Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT) and gender/innovation studies. I am skilled with data sorting and analysis with expertise in both descriptive and inferential statistics using statistical programs such as GENOVE, SPSS and still learning. I am also engaged in learned journal peer reviews locally, nationally and internationally. I am currently on my Postdoctoral research with the University of Johannesburg. My most recent intellectual project is floating the Association of Computer Adaptive Testing in Africa (ACATA-https://acata.org/), with the goal of moving Africa to the foremost generation of Computer-Based Testing. My pass time includes surfing the net, educational research, template-based website design and content development and I play Badminton. I am married and blessed with a daughter.
