I am a food scientist. I completed my undergraduate study in food technology, and then continued to learn biology and chemistry at graduate school. I received my PhD degree in food science. I am interested in the researches related to photosynthetic pigments functionality for its application in food and healthcare. Most of my works deal with pigments extraction, analysis, encapsulation, as well as the evaluation of its bioactivity and stability in food matrices. In addition, I have also developed the study in photoinactivation of various food borne pathogen using chlorophylls derivatives.
