Eko Sumartono is a researcher at the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Dehasen Bengkulu. Eko was born to a family of teachers and farmers: “Our life was very simple back then. I was born in a city full of history, and a long coastal area, namely Bengkulu, Indonesia. Starting in 1999, I migrated to the City of Education in Java, namely the Special Region of Yogyakarta. From this city I got to know a lot of variety and knowledge. I continued my study at one of the Agribusiness Study Programs, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. It took me four years to graduate with good honors with a 3.26 GPA. During my schooling in Yogyakarta, with a hobby in agriculture, I managed a small shop selling modern-style cuisine. Besides that, I also work part-time by managing the menu of agricultural products into healthy and cheap food for other students.” Eko completed his Masters in Agribusiness Management (Tobacco Research) at Gadjah Mada University and at that time worked at the company PT. Djarum/ Merabu and moved in 2021 at PT. Sadhana Arif Nusa-HM. Sampoerna, tbk, and in 2015 he took existing theoretical and practical knowledge and began teaching in one of the Agribusiness Programs at the Department of Socio-Economic Affairs, Bengkulu University. The passage of time, in 2020 until now has moved to teach at the Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Dehasen Bengkulu
