She is “2013 International Student of the Year for Post Graduate level in South Australia”. Ratna is the winner of some Academic Awards and Grants from both Indonesian and Australian Government. Ratna completed her Master and PhD degrees from Flinders University, South Australia. Ratna is currently teaching English at the Institute of Technology Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya. Ratna actively involves herself in ITS Internationalization program. She also teaches Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA). She is one of Dosen Pakar-Ahli Ristekdikti in the field of Language Centre Management and Language Learning. She is also an initiator of establishing Centre for Languages and Cultures as one of important organizer for TKBI Serdos in Indonesia. Ratna has been with the ITS since 1998. She is involved not only in teaching English and TOEFL Preparation but also in research and community services. Ratna is also a reviewer and editor board of some journals. She is also an active writer. Her publication record is exemplary. Since 2009, she has written for an international journal, contributed chapters to at least two books, and produced a number of conference papers. She has also presented at both international and local conferences. Ratna has interest in educational management, foreign language learning, achievement, proficiency, testing, measurement, and advanced statistical modelling using AMOS and PLSPath as well as qualitative approach.
