I currently work as a faculty member at the Department of Architecture at Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta and am a Fulbright scholarship recipient for pursuing my Ph.D. degree in Urban Design and Planning at the University of Washington in 2018. My research interests span community resilience, environmental psychology, and environmental justice. Much of my work has been on enhancing the understanding of people-place relationships in hazardous areas, mainly in Mount Merapi on Java Island.
