Mohammad Tohir as Editor-in-chief of the Alifmatika: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Matematika (Alifmatika: Journal of Mathematics Education and Learning). Mohammad Tohir started learning to write when he was still in his undergraduate degree, namely student scientific papers, and at the same time as the head of the editorial team of scientific papers. He has written a Book of Information and Communication Technology for Grades 7, 8, and 9 Junior High Schools and a Junior High School Mathematics Olympiad Development Book. Mohammad Tohir further solidified his desire to play an active role in the world of education, namely as a resource for national seminars, 2013 Curriculum Implementation workshops, training/workshops for the development of mathematics Olympiad for MGMP teachers, training for deepening concepts in competency group teacher for professionals through online mode, mathematical dialogue with students, presenter at national and international seminars. Mohammad Tohir has been the team compiling the 2013 Curriculum Junior High School Mathematics Book since 2013 until now, the First Edition of the Independent Curriculum High School Mathematics Book, and the First Edition of the Independent Curriculum Junior High School Mathematics Book published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.
