I am a Master of Arts Education who has completed education at the Postgraduate School of the Indonesian University of Education. During the education process, I pursued the Cello instrument area and some traditional Minanangbau instruments such as Talempong, Gandang and some traditional Minangkabau wind instruments. I have the goal of becoming an educator who is an expert in the field of art education (in particular) and also a reliable researcher to study the phenomena of music and culture and their applications in the learning environment. In the study of art education, the concentration of research will be divided into several research objects, be it educational research (learning), pure art (special arts), or even about culture. For the concentration of research, I will focus more on the object of culture and also the application of learning. Cultural phenomena (social, customary systems and music) in Indonesia became an attraction for me to be used as an object of research, besides functioning for knowledge and development of a culture, this research can also be used as my reference as an educator later in the learning process.
